Rockefeller Center
Stretched across 22 acres of New York City, Rockefeller Center is home to some of the city’s biggest attractions like NBC Studios, The Rink, and Top of the Rock. To create an unforgettable experience for everyone who walks through its doors, the iconic New York City landmark enlisted Big Human as its digital agency of record for holistic innovation in content, design, and website development.

RentHop
RentHop came to Big Human looking for help with copywriting and design on their newest marketing initiative: an ad campaign. It soon became clear that in order for the ads to have a significant impact, we’d need a more compelling call to action. As Big Human leads with a product-first mindset, we developed the concept for RentHop RentCompare, a tool that appeals to renters looking for a new apartment as well as those who may move within the next 12 to 18 months.

Quinn
Big Human teamed up with audio erotica platform Quinn for a website and mobile app refresh that better represented Quinn’s personality, intended audience, and appreciation for the spoken word. Our engineering team continues to work with Quinn for maintenance, updates, and general development needs.

HQ Trivia
HQ Trivia was the result of in-house experimentation at Big Human. At its height, the interactive mobile gaming experience had 35 million downloads and 2.4 million players on the app concurrently. With HQ Trivia, Big Human pioneered a new interactive app and gaming format that has been replicated worldwide, opening the doors for further innovation on mobile.

Overview
Big Human is a technology, design, and branding company. Invention and innovation has been at the heart of our work since 2010, so along with client work — past and current clients include Rockefeller Center, Gemini, and RentHop — we also build our own brands, apps, and companies. In 2012, we incubated Vine. Our sister company, HQ Trivia, was rated the #1 mobile app by TIME in 2017. In 2020, we invented Subdial; it received recognition as one of TIME’s Best Inventions of 2021 and a Webby Award.

Our small but mighty operation consists of 10 designers, 10 engineers, and 11 brand and product strategists, and our capabilities are divided into five categories: strategy (product, business, and brand), product design, branding, development, and content and growth marketing.
Our ideal project
We work with businesses and companies across a wide array of industries and backgrounds, including FinTech, eCommerce, travel, healthcare, blockchain, and media. Big Human’s general approach, no matter the size of the project, follows three key principles: 1) Collaborate openly and often, 2) Curate our systems, processes, and outputs to align with clients’ needs, and 3) Research, test, review, and retest to make sure we’ve built the best product or solution.
